Organizer guide: 7 ways to sell out your next fete
From ticket tiers to promoter links and door staff, the simple habits behind events that sell out.

Selling out is rarely luck. The organizers who do it consistently follow a few simple habits.
- Announce with a date and a flyer. A clear poster with the date, venue and ticket link does more than a week of teasers.
- Use tiered releases. A limited early bird creates urgency, and the next tier switches on automatically when it sells out.
- Sell the extras. Parking, cooler passes and bottle packages raise your average order and make arrival smoother for guests.
- Recruit promoters. Give each promoter a tracked link and a fair commission - you will see exactly who brings in sales.
- Reward your regulars. Send a promo code to past guests before tickets go on general sale.
- Keep guests informed. Message ticket holders about parking, dress code and start times so they arrive happy.
- Run a smooth door. Add enough door staff, scan every ticket and watch live check-in numbers to manage the queue.
After the event, check your reports: which tier sold best, which promoters performed and when people bought. That data is the head start for your next sell-out.
